On a mission to support Ukraine

What started more than 30 years ago as a child fascinated by the local military surplus store has transformed into an avenue to help support the freedom of Ukraine.

I have had an interest in military history and in the objects left behind by war from as far back as I can remember. As a boy growing up in the Midwest, the highlight of my week would come on trips to the local military surplus store. Seeing the badges, uniforms, and equipment that was used to defend democracy and the freedom to choose one’s own path brought the stories I learned in history books to life.

That sentiment hasn’t changed, though the times have.

Like many people around the world, I watched in horror as Russian tanks poured across the border with Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Everyone in the media said that Russia would capture Kyiv in three days, but what unfolded was a Ukrainian resolve and resilience that has changed the narrative on who holds the power in an ever-changing world.

At Battlefield Ukraine, we promise to deliver objects that truly capture the spirit of the defender that is much alive in the citizens and soldiers of Ukraine. We won’t lie to you or embellish the history behind our items.
